Putting Art Education Back Into Schools

ART Camp: Thursday, July 13, 2017

“En Plein Air.” French meaning painting outdoors

Time: 10 am – 12 (noon)- Kindergarten – Grade 4;  1-3 pm – Grades 5-8

Place: Williams Nature & Historic Learning Center- North House

Just west of M-15

Cost: $25.00  Residents; $30.00 Non-residents

Each child will create a work of art that they will take home with them.They will learn to mix primary colors to get secondary colors. They have the opportunity to paint what is in front of them, paint outdoors (weather permitting), and appreciate nature.

ART IN THE PARK: Saturday, July 22,2017

Time: 10 am – 4pm

Place: Lake Callis

Between Davison Road and Lapeer Road

Cost: $5.00 per project

Art Projects every hour starting at 11 am.

Putting art education back into the schools in Genesee county.
Artwork will be for sell from local artists to raise money for
Young Artistic Minds Nonprofit Organization.
There will be a silent auction of artwork from local artists as well as professors from the
Univerisity of Michigan, Flint campus.
